The Conference, meeting in the Second Chamber of the Dutch Parliament in The Hague Friday, was attended by representatives from Holland, Britain, Belgium, France, Sweden, Austria and Ireland. They were welcomed by Dirk Dolman, chairman of the Second Chamber. The current chairman of the European Parliament, Dutch Socialist Piet Dankert, recalled in his address that the European. Parliament recently resolved to appeal to the Foreign Ministers of the ten European Economic Community (EEC) member states to raise the treatment of Soviet Jews with the Moscow government.
Ivan Lawrence, a British Conservative MP, said there are indications that the number of Jews allowed to leave the Soviet Union will soon decrease to even less than the present trickle.
