A number of decisions on various aspects of the German refugee problem were made last night at a meeting of the intergovernmental refugee Committee, it was learned today.

George Rublee, director of the Refugee Bureau, met some of the vice-chairman of the committee for the first time. The meeting discussed at length the report which Hugh Wilson, American Ambassador to Germany, had submitted to the conference of American ambassadors in Paris earlier this week regarding prospects for negotiations with the German Government for transfer of refugees’ capital, and thoroughly reviewed the whole situation.

It is understood that the committee is not considering making an approach to the German Government regarding dumping of refugees in Switzerland and Belgium and other countries, being of the opinion that this question remains in the sphere of the states involved.
