Gunter Brand, formerly an officer in the German Imperial Army, was arrested here today by the authorities on the charge that he participated in the murder of the German Foreign Minister, Walter Rathenail. According to evidence, which has been submitted to the court at Leipzig, Brand was one of the originators of the murder plan, and fled after the crime was committed.
