The suggestions that the ex-Crown Prince was ordered by his father, the ex-Kaiser, to support Hitler, have gained in credence, in consequence of a declaration made to-day by another of the ex-Kaiser’s sons.
Prince August Wilhelm at a Nazi meeting held at Erfurt in connection with the presidential election campaign, said that “my father officially authorised me to propagate Nazi ideas, and to stand as a Nazi candidate for the Prussian Parliament.”
