The Times reports from Cairo that the Egyptian Prime Minister, in a statement to the press, declared that he had received letters indicating that the ex-Mufti of Jerusalem, who is now in Iraq, has agreed to accept the British Governments proposals for settlement of Palestine difficulties as set out in last spring’s White Paper. The statement added that negotiations were now afoot to grant amnesty for Palestine Arabs who are either in exile or in prison.
