The new Schleswig-Holstein government, headed by ex-Nazi Walter Bertram, has appointed another former Nazi official, Dr. Ernst Kracht, director of the provincial Minister-President’s office. The appointment has occasioned much protest, even in the Denish newspapers across the border.
