Former Premier Pierre Mendes-France will leave for the United States on Tuesday to deliver a number of speeches in response to invitations made three months ago. He will be guest of honor and main speaker at the annual dinner of the American Friends of the Weizmann Institute of Science on December 1. The money raised at the dinner will go to the support of research programs in the chemical, biological and physical sciences of the Weizmann Institute.
