Dr. Theoder Heuss, ex-president of the Federal Republic of Germany, will come to Israel May 3 for a three-week visit, it was announced here today. Dr. Heuss’ visit will be as a private individual. He was invited to visit Israel by the head of Israel’s Purchasing Mission in Cologne, Dr. Eliezer Shinnar.
The German Society for International Youth Exchange, here, announced today that a group of German youths, between the ages of 18 and 22, will tour Israel this summer. For at least one week, the youths will work in an Israeli kibbutz (collective settlement), according to the organizers of the tour.
