Anti-Jewish excesses broke out today in the Warsaw University law school. Nationalist students attacked Jewish students and seized and destroyed their identity cards. In the Sejm, meanwhile, the Minister of Education informed Deputy Emil Sommerstein that anti-Semitic disorders in Polish universities were being investigated and that the school authorities were doing all in their power to prevent attacks on Jewish students and other excesses.
Trial of three Polish schoolboy organizers of the “Union for Beating Up Jews” will open in Czestochow next week, it was announced today. The youths are charged with forming an illegal organization and attacking several Jews in Czestochow, wounding one of them seriously.
