A meeting of the executive board of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations will be held here on May 30th and 31st. Appropriations for the work of the Union and all its departments will be made at the meeting where the report of the budget committee will be considered.
Consideration will also be given to the proposed constitution for the Synagogue Council of America of which the Union is a constituent member.
Eleven rabbis will be graduated from the Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati, on May 29th. The baccalaureate sermon will be preached by Rabbi Gerson B.Levi, of Chicago.
Announcement will be made of the results of the efforts of the Sisterhoods’Committee on Hebrew Union College Scholarships to raise scholarships for the maintenance of students at the college during the current year.
