An exhibition depicting a century of Jewish life in Britain was opened at University College here today with ceremonies attended by leaders of Jewish communal and cultural life in Britain. The exhibition will run for four weeks.
The exhibition, which is housed in a special building contains historical Documents, models, photographs, pictures, jewelry and art work. Among the speakers at the opening ceremonies were Lord Nathan; Rev. Ephraim Levine representing British Chief Rabbi Brodie; Abraham Cohen, president of the Board of Deputies of British Jews Kenneth Garside, deputy librarian of University College; and Gerald Barry, president and director of the Festival of Britain, of which the current exhibition is part.
