An exhibition of Israeli arts and crafts was opened today at the Munich Municipal Museum. It was considered the most comprehensive show of its kind so far shown in West Germany. The exhibition included some 600 items made by 50 Israeli artists.
A special section featured new Hebrew translations of German classics and poetry of the 19th Century, including a Hebrew edition of the poems of Rainer Maria Rilke, illustrated by Marc Chagall.
