An exhibition of 42 paintings by Israel kibbutz artists sponsored by the Workers Bank of Israel was opened at the Panamanian Institute of Art here last night as part of a cultural exchange program.
Among those taking part in the opening ceremonies were Israel Ambassador Levi Allon; Adolfo Arias, president of the Institute and former Panamanian Ambassador to Israel; Eduardo Morgan, president of the Institute for Panamanian Israel Relations, representatives of the Panama Government and leaders of the local Jewish community. The high standard of the works on display won general acclaim. An exchange exhibition of the works of six outstanding Panamanian artists will soon leave for Israel.
