According to sources in Moscow, Alekset Tumerman, the Jewish activist who was detained a week ago by Soviet secret police after having been seen in the company of foreign Journalists, left the Soviet Union yesterday for Israel. Tumerman, one of the most active advocates of emigration to Israel, was reportedly accompanied by his wife.
