Experts began examining soil in the Polish town of Jedwabne to locate the site where hundreds of Jews were burned to death by their Polish neighbors during World War II. Scientists will use special sound-echo equipment to determine where the murders took place so that a cemetery can be built for the victims, according to the Polish state news agency.
