Egyptian missiles may already be equipped with a differential guidance system utilizing a complicated mechanism based on a number of gyroscopes and electronic devices, according to experts here who analyzed photographs of the Egyptian rockets exhibited in the “Revolution Day” parade last month in Cairo.
The system, which, according to the experts, requires a high degree of technical skill for its operation, was indicated by a number of special engravings on the heads of the missiles. (During the trial of two alleged Israeli agents in Basle last spring, it became known that Egypt had made a bid for the purchase of 900 gyroscopes.)
