Police in Dimona held 44 Arab workers for questioning today after a parcel of explosives was discovered on the Dimona-Beersheba bus this morning. The parcel aroused the curiosity of a passenger because it didn’t appear to belong to any of his fellow passengers. He alerted the driver who summoned the police. A police sapper opened the package and discovered explosives and an activating device which was dismantled safely. Police in the Negev town said the alertness of the passenger probably averted a disaster.
