The “complete evacuation” of all Jews from Holland to Nazi-occupied Eastern territories is predicted in the Essener Zeitung, Goering’s organ, reaching here today from Germany.
The new anti-Jewish regulations proclaimed last week in Holland are a prelude to the transfer of all Dutch Jews to the East, the paper writes. It informs that in addition to other restrictions imposed upon the Jews of Holland, they are no longer permitted to do any street trading, except collecting rags. They are also forbidden under the new regulations to practice as doctors, accountants, auctioneers, marriage brokers, teachers, guides, barbers, gymnastic instructors, pawnbrokers and economic or financial advisers. Certain exceptions may be made under special circumstances, the Essener Zeitung adds.
