The “Angriff,” the Nazi paper of which Minister Goebbels is still the Editor, announces the expulsion of all Jews from the Chemnitz textile industry. The announcement is communicated in a long, vituperative article, presenting alleged facts and figures, showering abuse on the Jews.
The Chemnitz textile industry, which employs large numbers of workers, both in Chemnitz and the surrounding districts, has been largely built up, both as far as technique and export are concerned, by Jews.
The attack in the “Angriff” is particularly significant, as it was hoped that the paper would become more restrained in expression when its editor, Goebbels, assumed the responsibility of office in the Cabinet.
