A complete and extensive biography of the late Zeev Jabotinsky, founder of the Zionist-Revisionist movement, will be prepared for the Jabotinsky Institute of Tel Aviv by Dr. Joseph B. Schechtman, life-long friend and collaborator of the late Revisionist leader, it was announced here today.
Dr. Schechtman, who now resides in New York, will devote himself entirely to this task so that the biography, conceived as a standard work on Jabotinsky’s life and activities “against the background of his epoch,” may be ready for 1955, on the 15th anniversary of the death of Jabotinsky. The biography, which will be published in Hebrew, English, Yiddish and Spanish, will be based on source material collected by the Jabotinsky Institute and on supplementary documentation to be supplied by friends and followers of Jabotinsky.
