Preliminary results in the Parliamentary election in Bavaria indicated late today that the extremist National Democratic Party had made good its boast that it would win seats for the second time this month in a West German state election. The NDP, which has been described by the West German Interior Ministry neo-Nazi, won eight of the 96 seats in the Hesse Parliament in an election on November 6, the first NDP seats in a state Parliament.
The initial returns today indicated that the NDP won at least 10 percent of the votes which, in the Bavarian electoral system, would make it third in strength in the state Parliament, ousting the Free Democrats. Jubilant NDP leaders said their party would soon have a voice in determining national policies in West Germany.
