A full report on an anti-Semitic outburst by a Mount Vernon official of the Congress of Racial Equality was ordered filed today with the Westchester district attorney and the Federal Bureau of Investigation by Mayor Joseph Vaccarella.
The Mayor also announced that neither he nor any other Mount Vernon official or agency would have anything to do with CORE while Brown remained in the organization. Mr. Brown, a Westchester County probation officer, later “apologized, ” saying his remarks were “cruel and excessive” and made “at an emotional moment. “
