F. Gordon Borowsky, Philadelphia industrialist and Jewish communal leader, died in Boston last night, aged 54. A vice-president and member the board of the Federation of Jewish Charities here, Mr. Borowsky was also a member of the national campaign cabinet of the United Jewish Appeal, and chairman of the 1961 conference of the UJA Mid-Atlantic Region.
During the past four years, Mr. Borowsky had participated in a number of UJA study missions to Israel. He was also a past president of the American Technion Society, and a member of the board of the Albert Einstein Medical Center here.
