Failure of the British Colonial Office to halt Jewish immigration to Palestine prompted Jamal Husseini, president of the Palestine Arab Party, to announce to foreign newspapermen tonight that Arabs were considering a boycott of the British Royal Commission, en route here to inquire into recent disorders.

He declared that the Government’s step “endangers the Arabs’ attitude toward the Royal Commission.”

The Arab Supreme Committee interviewed High Commissioner Sir Arthur Grenfell Wauchope and submitted a written protest against the Colonial Office’s action in announcing an 1,800-certificate Jewish labor immigration schedule for the coming six months.

Sir Arthur promised to study the memorandum.
