The world-renowned Hotel Glattauer, Jewish-owned hostelry in Karlsbad, will go on the auction block Sept. 12, it was announced today. The hotel, known to thousands of health-seekers throughout the world, was ruined by Nazi terrorist methods applied against Jewish and Czechoslovak enterprises in the Sudetendeutsche district in which Karlsbad is located. The owners are planning to open a new hotel in the Slovakian resort city of Pystian.
