Families of Americans killed by Hamas terrorists wrote to President Clinton urging him to press Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat to transfer a Hamas militant to the United States for prosecution. The move came following Israeli media reports that Palestinian security officials had arrested Mohammed Deif, who tops Israel’s most-wanted list. Israeli officials have called on the Palestinian Authority to put Deif on trial.
