Novelist Fannie Hurst has made a gift of $360,000 to the Albert Einstein College of Medicine for a laboratory unit for Cardiovascular Research, Dr. Samuel Belkin, president of Yeshiva University of New York, announced today.
Dr. Belkin said that the laboratory unit would be dedicated at a dinner April 2 at which Miss Hurst would be honored for her contributions to literary, civic and communal endeavors in America.
