Plans to expand the services of the Farband, Labor Zionist Order, as part of the celebration of its 50th anniversary, will be developed at the annual three-day conference of the Farband board of directors, which opens tomorrow in Unser Camp, Highland Mills, N. Y., it was announced today by Louis Segal, general secretary.
Some 300 delegates, representing Farband units throughout the United States and Canada, are expected. The Farband school system, which maintains schools in American and Canadian cities, also is celebrating its 50th anniversary. Principal speakers at the opening session will include Israel Consul General Binyamin Eliav.
