Jacob Fabian, head of the Stanley-Fabian chain of moving picture theatres in New Jersey, presented $100,000 to the congregation of Temple Emane-El to be used in the construction of a new structure in the east side of Paterson, N. J. He was for twelve years president of the congregation.
In addition. Mr. Fabian provided $40,000 for purchase of the property on which the temple is to stand. The new structure, it is estimated, will cost $500,000.
Mr. Fabian is the donor of the site for the World War Plaza. He also gave $15,000 each to the Y.M. C. A. and Y. M. H. A. building funds. He has given sums to hospitals and other institutions.
