The Board of Deputies of British Jews today adopted a resolution endorsing the UNSCOP majority report and expressing the hope that Britain would join those states (the United States and Russia) “in reaching a final solution of the Palestine problem and working out a common practical plan for its implementation which will ##cure the orderly transition to the new regime in Palestine and will afford it an opportunity to enter upon a period of development and progress under settled conditions.”
