A Federal District Court Judge this week-end refused to release two four-engined Constellation planes bald at the Millville airport on the grounds that the planes might be destined for Israel. The planes have been impounded since July 13.
Assistant U.S. Attorney General Grover C. Richman told the judge that A.W. Schwimmer, owner of the planes, was a “front for a Jewish organization seeking to send area and airplanes” to Israel. He added that the planes were scheduled to be flown to Prague and thence to Israel, in violation of the U.S embargo.
