As the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities’ $500,000 twenty-fifth anniversary campaign nears the beginning of its second month, divisions of the Trade and Membership Council, fund-raising organization of the Federation, are becoming increasingly active in obtaining money for the twenty-five a..liated societies, according to a joint statement given out last night by County Judge Algeron I. Nova, chairman of the campaign, and Samuel Salzman, chairman of the Council, coincident with the issuance of a new list of contributions, annual subscriptions and special donations to the drive.
“We are compelled to depend this year more than ever on the splendid volunteer workers in the Council,” said the statement. “The campaign has had good results thus far, but a stronger effect is necessary if we are to obtain the $500,000 so vital to save the Federation.”
