The Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies will launch its “minute appeal” tonight at a rally of campaign workers to be held in the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel. The drive is based on the sale of minutes, at eleven dollars apiece, as part of the fund campaign to ralse $4,200,000.
Speakers tonight will include Otto H. Kahn, David Sarnoff, Paul Adler, Benjamin J. Buttenwieser, Mrs. Felix M. Warburg, Mrs. Sidney C. Borg and Judge Jonah J. Goldstein. Entertainment will be provided by stage and radio stars.
Mrs. Warburg welcomed members of the Committee of Unaffiliated Workers at her home yesterday, and pleaded for support. Mrs. Albert J. Erdmann will receive members of the Junior Group of the Division at her home, 7 East 76th Street today, where plans will be made for a tea and dance to be held Dec. 25 at the Central Park Casino.
