Fewer Israelis are getting married and those who do are waiting longer to tie the knot, according to the latest statistical survey published this week by the Central Bureau of Statistics. According to the report, 38,000 couples wed last year, with the average age of grooms 26, and brides 23. The divorce rate remains relatively low compared to other developed countries, with about 10 percent of couples divorcing in the first 10 years of marriage.
