The percentage of “non-Aryans” among the lawyers practicing in Berlin dropped from 34.4 per cent at the end of 1935 to 33.6 per cent at the end of 1936. There were 1,036 “non-Aryans” of a total of 3,007 lawyers in 1935 and 934 of a total of 2,858 at the end of 1936, according to a statement issued by the Reich Lawyers’ Chamber.
