Jewish guerrillas are operating in the Brabant section Belgium, it is revealed in the pro-Nazi newspaper Le Nouveau Journal, copies of which were received here today. The paper reports that the Gestapo recently arrested group of terrorists in the Brabant province consisting of escaped war prisoners held by a Jew.”
The paper adds that there were many Jews among the members of the band, who put up fierce resistance when surrounded by the Germans. One guerrilla was killed and another seriously wounded. “The group had been responsible for the murders of many Belgians who were collaborating with the Germans,” the report says.
