Rotholz, the Jewish boxer who recently won the amateur championship of Poland, will be disqualified from further competition for life and the club to which he belongs, the Star, will be punished, if he persists in his refusal to participate in bouts with a German team at Posen, the club was notified today.
The Polish Boxing Association, which was told that Rotholz would not engage in the bouts because of Nazi treatment of Jews in Germany, demanded his unconditional participation. The club protested against these coercive tactics and remained firm in its decision not to have Rotholz fight.
