The Ministerial Council of the European Common Market voted this morning to lift the restrictions on four agricultural products excluded from the economic agreement between Israel and the Common Market. The move was the final step toward ratification of the agreement which is to take effect July 1. The four products–orange and tomato juices and concentrates, had been restricted at Italy’s request in order to allow the accord to be signed in May. The agreement will now cover all products.
