Many residents of the township Zloczew, near Lodz, received injuries, some serious, in the fire which destroyed the principal street of the township last night. The population of Zloczow is principally Jewish.
The village Iwia, near Nowygrod, was totally destroyed in a fire which swept the locality last night. About 500 families, the majority of whom are Jewish, remained roofless.
