“Fire on anti-Semitism” is the slogan adopted by 20,000 Russian coal miners in the Don basin who issued a manifesto against anti-Semitism, following the return of 150 Russian workers who were sent for a survey of the Jewish colonies.
In the manifesto they issued, they declared: “It is false that the Jews do not want to work the land.” The Russian workers praised the Jewish colonization activities and promised their support to the Ozet.
