The first Conservative Jewish all-day school in the Borough of Brooklyn was opened yesterday at the East Midwood Jewish Center. The ceremony was addressed by Deputy Mayor of New York, Dr. John Theobald, and by Israel Consul General Cecil Hyman. The new school is a bi-cultural institution combining general elementary school subjects with Hebrew language and other Jewish studies.
