The first import of German- made cars was recorded in Israel with the arrival today of 120 tiny two-seater Israel vehicles at the Haifa port.
The cars will sell for 3,500 pounds, about half the price charged for the Israel-assembled four-seat Dauphine Renault cars. The importers said that if the Isettas well, an assembly plant may be opened in Israel to produce them.
