A total of 161 Jewish displaced persons were scheduled to arrive here tomorrow aboard the U.S. Army transport General Black which is bringing 813 DP immigrants to the United States as the first contingent of the 205,000 displaced persons who will enter this country under terms of the Displaced Persons Act of 1948.
The Jewish arrivals will be aided when they land by representatives of the United Service for New Americans and HIAS. The new immigrants will depart immediately upon their arrival here for points in New York, New Jersey, Michigan, North Carolina, Texas and California.
