The first Jewish airport in history was unofficially inaugurated here when Pincus Rutenberg, director of the Rutenberg Electric Company, landed in a plane from Haifa and was met by Mayor Israel Rokach. the airport, which is nearing completion, is being constructed by the all-Jewish city. It is Located at the mouth of the Yarkon River and measures 800 meters by 40 meters.
