The first Liberal synagogue in this city was dedicated this week. Present at the ceremony were Rabbi W. van der Zyl, president of the World Union for Progressive Judaism,and Chanan Cidor, Israel Minister to Holland Otto Frank, father of the late Anne Frank, whose diary in book and play form has told the world the story of an adolescent growing up in hiding in Nazi-occupied Holland-dedicated a hall in the synagogue building named for his daughter.
