The first military casualty list of Palestinians, up to April 1, which was issued today, includes 32 killed, of whom 15 were Jews, and four who died of wounds, of whom two were Jews.
A pharmaceutical factory to replace medicaments and chemical commodities formerly imported from Germany will be built near the Sieff Research Institute at Rehoboth at a cost of L500,000. The project is backed by Simon Marks and Israel Sieff of London. The staff of 100 will be supervised by the Research Institute, which is headed by Dr. Chaim Weizmann.
