The first Betariada, sports festival sponsored by the Revisionist youth movement Betar, opened here today with some 700 young people in attendance.
Among the delegates were small groups from the United States, South Africa, Turkey, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Argentina and Mexico. The six-day meet was opened with the ceremonial presentation of a torch which had been lit at the grave of the late Vladimir Jabotinsky, Revisionist leader who was buried in New York.
