Abraham I. Katsh, instructor in Hebrew in the division of general education of New York University, is the author of a Hebrew treatise entitled “Einstein’s Theory of Relativity,” believed to be the first Hebraic study of the subject, which has just been published by the Gutenberg Press of Tel Aviv, Palestine.
Part of the volume, which includes a popular explanation of Einstein’s theory and an evaluation of its metaphysical and mathematical significance, was translated by Mr. Katsh from an English thesis he submitted to the New York University School of Education in 1932 as part of the requirements for his M.A. in philosophy and education.
