Completion of the first unabridged, authoritative translation into English of the Talmud was announced here today by the Soncinco Press. The translation–in 34 volumes–was completed under the editorship of Dr. I. Epstein and contains a foreword by the late British Chief Rabbi Isaac Hertz and an epilogue by Dr. Israel Brodie, present Chief Rabbi of the British Empire.
