The first vessel to fly the flag of Israel in the waters of the western hemisphere will be officially named the S.S. Haifa at a dedication ceremony to be held on Monday at Potts Cove Pier, Queens, New York, it was announced here today by the American Israeli Shipping Company, The vessel is a former Canadian victory ship of 10,800 tons.
